Whilst FCAF work has kept Shaun very busy Tranex Turismo S.A., as a company, is about more than just running FCAF. A number of other significant projects have been undertaken including:

Overseeing the export of 2 metre gauge YP type locomotives from India. Design work has been undertaken to convert the locos to 3' gauge, fitting an air braking system to replace the vacuum brakes, conversion to oil firing and recently conversion to wood burning using the Gas Producer Combustion System.
Work has also been undertaken on providing a modern steam loco, LVM801,for the Argentinean 'Train to the Clouds'.
