From Mull we drove up to Fort William, mainly to enjoy 'The Jacobite' steam service that runs between Fort William and Mallaig. During our visit LNER B1 61264 was in service.

The trip to Mallaig was made in heavy rain ! Fortunately this stopped soon after we arrived at Mallaig.

time honoured fashion a member of the B1 support crew stands on the cab
roof with a shovel in this hand. Attached to the shovel is the radio signalling
