Driving down from Carlisle we arrived at Llangollen in plenty of time for the 13.00 departure. Newly restored GWR 2-6-2t 5199 was in service.

At the time of our visit the International Eisteddfod was taking place in Llangollen. Here one group of entrants from Africa have a look at 5199. The same group had appeared at Keith & Tracy Lazenby's wedding in June ! July 10 2003
